With easy availability of internet, explosion of gadgets (PC/Laptops) and advanced yet affordable blogging platforms, everybody jumping in to the blogosphere.
In reality, a successful blogging career is much more difficult than getting a degree in Medical (MBBS) or Engineering.
The level of passion, hard-work and patience of a professional blogger is much more than these so called Medicos and Engineering Professionals.
So, without much ado, I’m going to tell you the main 1,000 reasons why newbie bloggers quit blogging, after a promising start.
1. Quick and Easy Money
Lots of students, and even working professionals start blogging, only to earn quick bucks easily.
They lured by reading the earnings of other successful bloggers. They only think about – How much money the top 10 or top 20 bloggers earn every month.
What they forget, in fact don’t like to know is – How many bloggers not able to earn, even 10$ per month!
In search of quick money, they start selling low quality affiliate products, clicking on their own AdSense Ads, promoting anything and everything on their blogs, and finally build a blog which is full of spam.
After 6 months or so, when they realize, earning quick money by blogging is not a child’s play, they simply quit.
2. Lack of Prior Knowledge and a Mentor
A mentor is a well experienced person, who can steer you to the success point, through good and bad times by enlightening you by his accumulated experience or knowledge.
Without prior knowledge about the hurdles associated with blogging, and without a mentor to discuss the problems, newbie bloggers struggle a lot to build a good blog.
And, one fine morning, when they become completely hopeless, they simply quit blogging.
3. Lack of Passion
Passion is the only thing which motivates us to continue blogging.
Only due to sheer passion we always think about newer things and create great articles. Successful bloggers are not only passionate about their niche, but also about blogging or creating awesome blog posts.
Newbie bloggers usually start blogging out of compulsion. And, when they become tired or bored doing the same thing again and again, they simply quit.
4. Lack of Readers and Interaction
Blog is a social network, where readers interact with the author and other readers by leaving meaningful comments.
A blog without readers and comments is useless and frustrating. Readers engagement and constructive comments inspire bloggers to continue blogging.
In case of newbie bloggers, the only readers of their blogs are their daddy dear and few good friends. That’s all!
When they can’t cope with this frustration, they quit.
5. Wrong Niche
Newbie bloggers usually choose a blogging niche, which is in demand and associated with lot of money, instead of their passion or hobby.
This is the reason why they unable to produce unique and engaging content. Due to lack of knowledge and interest about the subject, they start spinning articles from other blogs.
When they unable to get success and realize they are in wrong niche, they simply quit.
1,000th reason: When starting a new blog, a newbie blogger should also know about SEO, knowledge about different blogging platforms and different ways to promote a blog.
